The Team

Ali Barghelame

Ali has devoted his entire life to living along the Front Range of Colorado; born in Greeley, raised in the suburbs of Fort Collins, attending the University of Denver, living in Pueblo, and settling in Denver. Ali is married to the congenial and warm Jill with whom they are raising Izak and Nadia. When he is not skiing during the winter with his family, or coaching basketball for his kids, you can catch him reading something written by a former Navy Seal or by Malcom Gladwell.

Andrew Ulibarri

Andrew too has (mostly) devoted his life to living along the Front Range of Colorado, but for his collegiate stint at Northwestern College in Iowa; he went on a basketball scholarship. While there he met his amiable and energetic wife Becca. When he’s not working on various side projects at home you can catch him reading something from John Bevere or about Basque history.

Savannah Smith

Savannah hails from the opposite side of the state of Ali and Andrew - the oddly captivating, and serene Western slope of Colorado. Her collegiate stint brought her to this side of the state, to Colorado State University in Fort Collins. When she is not enjoying the nearby hikes close to the metro area, you can catch her reading something like The Richest Man in Babylon or also something from a Navy Seal.

Alyssa Paretta

Alyssa is our lone non-Coloradan, but after spending early childhood in Minnesota her family saw the light and moved to Colorado Springs. There she finished her adolescence and spent her collegiate stint at University of Colorado Colorado Springs. When she is not enjoying a bike ride on the weekend with the friendly and eccentric John (her long-time boyfriend) you can catch her reading the latest assignment from her book club like The Keeper of Night

Byron Hurlbut

Byron hails from the sweeping landscapes of the Four Corners. He’s lived along the Front Range since his collegiate stint at Colorado College. From there he moved to Denver to learn more of the language of Finance by meeting Ali, and continued it with a Masters from Georgetown. When he is not enjoying good quaff with his witty, Sommelier husband Aubrey you can catch him reading some ancient biography by Adrian Goldsworthy or something like A Darker Shade of Magic.
